Your CM/ECF account status in the Northern District of Iowa can be updated to reflect your current situation by completing the Attorney Status Change Request.
The following status change options are available:
- Active
- Inactive
- Retired
- Deceased - If you are monitoring an account for a person who is now deceased, please complete the status change form so that we may update our records accordingly.
***Note: If you have been in "Inactive" or "Retired" status for more than five years and are looking to return to "Active" status, you are required to reapply for admission to the district.
If you have been "Inactive" or "Retired" for five years or less, you are required to pay the past-due annual renewal fees (up to 5 years) before you can be returned to "Active" status. Please contact the clerk's office to determine the amount of past-due fees you owe, or if you need to reapply for admission.
